Bolivian President Luis Garcia Meza said he had crushed an Army revolt in the town of Cochabamba and accused two former presidents of involvement. He said former Presidents Hugo Banzer and Alberto Natusch Busch and a general, Eden Castillo Galarzo, were linked with the revolt, which was led by Col. Emilio Lanza. General Natusch Busch and General Banzer, both went into exile this month after being implicated in an earlier coup attempt by Colonel Lanza on May 11.
