Surviving: The Saga of a Pioneer Family

I am reading Surviving: The Saga of a Pioneer Family by Hazel Netherton. It is a book you can’t put down with characters that draw the reader into a post-Civil War world of immigrants in the brutal wilderness of Northern Michigan. Into what should be a simple life of Bible-based morality comes romantic conflict and the greed of lumber barons. Fun and adventurous summer reading!
