Kenyan officials deport anti-Obama author
By Rob Crilly | October 7, 2008 edition
Nairobi, Kenya – The neoconservative author of an anti-Barack Obama book was detained and ordered out of Kenya on Tuesday night for not having a proper work permit, said Kenyan officials.
Jerome Corsi, who wrote “Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality,” had planned to launch his far-right tract in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Tuesday.
However, immigration officials intercepted him as he arrived at a luxury hotel where the launch event was due to take place.
This is the second time Dr. Corsi has been involved in an effort to question the credentials of the Democratic presidential candidate. The episode also underscores the depth of support for Senator Obama in Kenya.
His book has angered many ordinary Kenyans who view Obama – the son of a Kenyan goat herder who grew up to become a government economist – as a hero.
It questions Obama’s fitness to hold office, rakes over his family history, and explores alleged links with the Kenyan prime minister, Raila Odinga.
“We are going to leave for London tonight,” said Corsi’s assistant, Tim Bueler, on Tuesday afternoon.
“Our passports and visas are in order but it seems the Kenyan authorities have lost our arrival cards, which we filled in on the plane coming here,” he said. “So we will leave while they complete their investigations, but have been told we can return.”
As well as launching his book, Corsi planned to visit Obama’s half-brother George, who was recently found to be living in squalid conditions in a Nairobi slum.
Corsi, who wrote “Unfit for Command” in 2004 as part of an attempt to malign John Kerry’s Vietnam record, said he had a check for $1,000 to give to George.
The writer has been in Kenya since last Thursday.
But it seems the Kenyan authorities woke up to his presence on Tuesday morning when local newspapers advertised the book launch.
The Standard, a Kenyan newspaper, quoted a press release saying: “Dr. Corsi will also expose details of deep secret ties between US presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama and a section of Kenya government leaders, their connection to certain sectoral groups in Kenya and subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya should Sen Obama win the American presidency.”
Obama has ancestral roots in the Luo tribe of Western Kenya, as does Mr. Odinga.
Raila narrowly lost December’s presidential election which was marred by widespread vote rigging. His defeat prompted widespread violence which left some 1,500 dead. It ended only with a power-sharing deal that promoted Odinga to the new position of prime minister.
Obama is deeply popular in Kenya, where he is seen as a political hero, untainted by the corruption and sleaze that dog homegrown politicians here. He has attracted broad support that overcomes traditional tribal divisions.
Corsi’s book alleges that Obama was raised as a Muslim, a false rumor.
A Christian who attended the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Obama’s campaign has dissected the book on their website FightTheSmears.com.

Corsi is truly a squalid fellow, fingering thru slime and looking for any possible nasty interpretation… something like Igor.
He can conjure up a hate book on just about anybody he gets assigned, it’s his speciality apparently. Just enough lurid details are provided to draw in the flies.
3. Ogel | 10.07.08
Good for Kenya. I t would seem they have enough problems without Mr. Corsi adding to them. Especially when he does it for his own self interest. I wonder if Mr. Corsi has made grand wizard yet? It is too bad that people have to make up lies; because of their hate, greed and ambition. Especialy when they have the resource to drown out opposition.
4. Val | 10.07.08
Take that, conservatives.
Freedom of speech is intended to protect LIBERAL speech, ONLY.
5. Presidential Candidate | 10.07.08
Let’s change the subject. The American economy is melting down, and I can’t offer solutions. So let’s change the subject. People arelosing their jobs, and I can’t offer solutions. So let’s change the subject. People are losing their homes, and I don’t know what to do - business as usual doesn’t work!?!!? - So let’s change the subject.
Yeh, let’s not talk about what’s important to the American people.
Let’s change the subject.
John McCain - (BAD) business as usual.
6. Dave | 10.07.08
WOW, this is interesting because it shines a light on something usually hidden in the shadows: an *actual* political operative of a major party caught in the act of orchestrating what appears to be an attempted “swiftboat-style” October surprise. Obviously the timing suggests Mr. Corsi intended his visit and whatever information (bribed with $1000?) he obtained, to influence the US elections.
7. Peter Odong | 10.07.08
I salute the authorities in Kenya for the excellent action taken against this bloody liar !! He should not be allowed to re-enter Kenya again. People like him know nothing else, only to cause chaos, confusion to good peaceful Kenya. I knew his late father, he was not a moslem !!! nothing near to that.
The whole of East Africa should bar him completely, should not be allowed anywhere near our Community. We are peaceful and we respect Barrack Obama and his efforts to change the world.
God will see him through to the white house and more !! He has our prayers.
8. Kitti | 10.07.08
Obama is as fishy as it gets. Too many closets, too much junk. Kenya- you can try to hide his filth, but the truth is coming.
9. John | 10.07.08
Just another example of why Kenya is considered such a backward country. If a regime is willing to toss you out of the country for disagreeing with your message, even though you entered following the proper process, then you do not live in a free society. Kenya, we’ll be waiting if you decide you ever want to join the rest of the world; actually, we won’t hold our breath.
10. David | 10.07.08
So far, NONE of the accusations against Obama have turned out to be true. The Republicans are grasping at straws. The closer to the election, the more ridiculous the claims are. Don’t just accept the stuff they are spewing. Check the facts.
11. MikeD | 10.07.08
Commenter #1, your argument is so profound, the facts you don’t cite, the tone you need only imply! hmmm! I bet I’m dumb enough to fall for your outlandish suspicions!
12. Gee Stark | 10.07.08
Let’s see, we’ve got Obama’s strong relationship with Jeremiah Wright, a documented anti-American, who Obama called his mentor, William Ayers, a self-proclaimed domestic terrorist who advocated killing our parents, his mysterious association with officials in Kenya . . . what next? We do NOT know who Obama is — ever see the Manchurian Candidate? Has 50% of the country been brainwashed?
13. o’malley | 10.07.08
Corsi and his ilk have succeeded by exploiting our lazy approach to finding the truth. For instance the recent political turbulence in Kenya was of ethnic nature not religious at all. The church he claims to have been burnt by Muslims was actually burnt by Christian Kalenjin. Raila Odinga the man whom he claims lost elections was leading in the vote counting up to the time official rigging at gun point was ordered by the incumbent. International observers including the EU election monitors and the USA ambassador have the intelligence and have publicly stated that the incumbent stole the elections from Raila. Actually it is only last week that the USA banned the 22 Kenya Electoral Commission from ever travelling to the USA.

Again Raila is a popular and pragmatic leader who is a Christian through and through; none of his extended family or ancestor is a Muslim.
This is the 21st century, where do the western media get all this fiction which feeds the likes of Corsi?
14. justamoment | 10.07.08
It would appear that Mr Odinga has something to hide, otherwise why would he keep someone from looking into Obama’s past. Could it be that Odinga is aa corrupt as Obama …. hmmmmmm.
15. markee | 10.07.08
Why hasn’t Obama produced a birth certificate to prove he’s an american? If there is nothing for the senator to hide why is he guarding his past so very closely. Obama wants socialism, why doesn’t he just come out and say it. Tell me Obama hasn’t lied through his teeth about a number of issues. Let’s talk about Ayers. Do you actually believe he has no involvement with this ultra left terrorist who was glad that 9/11 killed so many americans? Even though Obama launched his political career at his home. The guy is a skunk and he stinks to high heaven. The problem is Obama supporters don’t want to hear the truth about their little idol, and anyone who brings up Obama’s past is labeled as a a racist even if they’re black themselves.
16. Don in CA | 10.07.08
It is not lies, but interpretation. What is good about Kenya attacking freedom of speech? It is fitting that Obama be very popular there, but it is not the Kenyans who stand to lose if the concerns about Obama turn out to be justified. And please, it’s rather two-faced to complain about self-interest while defending someone with the ambition to be President of the United States.
17. Gorestradamus | 10.07.08
FightTheSmears.com is run by the Obama Campaign and all information should be seen as partisan and not objective.
18. Greg | 10.07.08
This does make me wonder what Corsi is up to now and if the reaction surrounding his ludicrous opinions was what he was really after. My own fantasy: If he had been allowed to introduce his fictional diatribe in Nairobi and the masses who showed up merely turned their backs on him and walked away shaking their heads.
19. angelou | 10.07.08
WHEN HE GETS BACK HERE TO AMERICA, deport HIM DOWN TO the jungles of Colombia or the Mexican/American border. That’ll teach him not to go around provoking people by smearing all his lies
21. tonile | 10.07.08
Not so good for Kenya. I can understand that they don’t want him around (who does?), but they may have given this slime greater validity…made him a martyr of sorts.
22. al | 10.07.08
I being from Kenya was glad that this idiot was kicked out. Just imagine writing **** about Israel getting a tourist visa and taking it to Israel and trying to sell it to them?. You expect to be welcomed with flowers? He got kicked out because did business(sell his ****** book) on a tourist visa.
Also the timing you could just smell arat he a Mccain mole trying to smear Obama. He also intended to visit George Obama in his shack to give him 1000$. This guy is doing some dirty job for Mccain.
23. joseph | 10.07.08
The only thing wrong with vermin like Corsi is that he was born in the wrong time and place. He would’ve fit in beautifully in Nazi Germany. (As would have his facist/racist readers.)
What will you losers all do when President Obama is sworn in and the sky doesn’t actually fall onto your tiny little brains?
25. Diane | 10.07.08
I am a firm believer in free speech. However, Corsi’s book should be in the fiction section. He plays fast and loose with facts. If he interviewed me, and I said I knew Obama was really an alien from Mars bent on conquering earth, he would publish that and say it was from a “highly credible source”.
“Swiftboating” is now in our lexicon because of Corsi’s lies.
26. Bruce | 10.07.08
Dr. Corsi is a dedicated American patriot who has done the nation a great service in his scholarly and thorough research. He is feared by leftists who typically seek to obscure their true agendas in order to gain power. His expose’ of Obama’s support and relationship with the Marxist Odinga, as well as his long-standing ties with radical leftists in the U.S. has earned the wrath of those who would prefer that these facts never see the light of day. It is a pity that so many in Kenya are duped by the radical left. Barack Hussein Obama is slowly being revealed as the radical neo-Marxist he is, and if enough American voters become truly aware of what his real agendas are, he will be soundly rejected.
27. LeFtiE | 10.07.08

Haha!
Your guy is pure slime and your attempt very transparent. Nice try though, B+ for effort!
29. Not McGreen | 10.07.08
It is apparent that McGreen could not think of a word with negative connotations, so he took “squalid” right out of the article. Good call! The poor author writes a book about a presidential candidate we know nothing about and he gets deported! Life is unfair, he should file a complaint through Obama and his lobbyists.
30. larnette | 10.07.08
Thank God they stopped him for doing anymore of his snake-like damage to the world.
31. Helen Brown | 10.07.08
If the book had been Pro-Obama I bet he could have stayed. Its all part of a larger push to get him in the Whitehouse so a larger plan can be put into play.
32. scared | 10.07.08
This is scary — look at the Obamashirts posting here. They hate free speech, a human right. They hate free speech, a central American tenet.
They are anti-American and anti-human.
33. thomas | 10.07.08
The strangest part has to be that Corsi actually attacked McCain not that long ago, but that seems to have been overlooked by everyone quoting Corsi as some sort of expert on Obama. Corsi linked McCain to, of all people, Osama bin-Laden.
35. Superpower | 10.07.08
“Corsi is truly a squalid fellow, fingering thru slime and looking for any possible nasty interpretation… something like Igor.” - McGreen
Yes McGreen, much like the team of lawyers Obama dispatched to Wasilla, AK to “finger thru slime and look for any possible nasty interpretation” on Governor Palin. -Very hypocritical of you.
36. Ronald Reagan | 10.07.08
Bad for kenya, they are so corrupt as to deprt some one who goes against pulic opinion. Corsi should be praised for his ability to show the slime that obama tuly is.
37. Janice | 10.07.08
Oh brother. Another ignorant one playing the race card. So anyone against Obama’s politics, lack of experience, and blatant legal inability to run for office is a “grand wizard”? How sad your party resorts to this to win an election. But any method is fair game I suppose, when someone has the mentality to support Obama.
38. brian | 10.07.08
To the first commentor
Why did you not ‘hmmmmm’ about Corsi falsely accusing Obama of being raised Muslim….hmmmmmm…… double standards. If you want to be so fair and balanced ( which I bet you are ) would it not be fair to ‘hmmm’ for all things that seem smelly OR like the ‘fair and balanced’ people, do you only do it the facts that you feel are fair and balanced, honesty and decency be damned!
39. Ambaza | 10.07.08
This guys is an idiot. He was clearly out to promote his own self interest. Kenya was at the verge of collapse at the beginning of this year due to rigged elections. The leaders hammered out a deal that saved the country from total collapse. Just as the wounds are starting to heal, this moron comes into the country making unsubstantiated claims against its leaders just so as smear Obamas’ name. His inflammatory accusations could have caused chaos and bloodshed. And some people still wonder why most of the world anti American.
Self seeking exploits that rage millions of lives.
40. john | 10.07.08
He is not “far right” He is just right. Is it impossible that a man of respect from Kenya has an opinion withouth being called radical as a cut down so nobody will take him seriously. “CHRISTIAN SCIENCE isradical!
41. Ron | 10.07.08
I’m an independent voter. My politics sit at the center.
That said, this is all very interesting. You have to admit this brings out a Obama-Kenya link that wasn’t really discussed earlier.
I mean, Mr. Obama has a half-brother George who was recently found to be living in squalid conditions in a Nairobi slum? Sorry, but that’s news. And it’s relevant.
42. Oneal | 10.07.08
Good for Kenya. In how many countries can you run up and make money without a work permit? Kenya should have sent him to Guantanamo until a judge sets a bail on this idiot.
43. KISOKA | 10.07.08
If Obama was a muslim, like muslim means killer or evil, why his step brother Georges who seemed to grow up in Kenya does not have a muslim name? That Corsi or whatever, is just a racist. like Pallin and the others. God punishes him as He did to Sharon, the israelian.
44. Greenman | 10.07.08
My reactions, in order:
1. No free speech to the Kenyan authorities.
2. I’m delighted they threw this insidious wretch Corsi out; we couldn’t do it here, they can and did.
3. What about Obama exposes these yawning depths of suspicion and hatred in my fellow white Americans? It goes beyond racism. He gets degrees of distrust so far beyond, say, Jesse Jackson–why? Is it that they cannot tolerate the idea that he might be just about who he appears to be?
45. SF2OAK | 10.07.08
I’d actually like to hear about Obama’s unknown brother George apparently living in squalid conditions, why? Could not Obama show an ounce of compassion for a destitute family member. What’s the story Barack?
46. Margaret | 10.07.08
Your first poster ought to know that there was awful sectarian violence recently in Kenya, and Corsi’s reckless rantings could ignite trouble again. What’s ’smelly’ is the hate-filled, irresponsible and deeply cynical rhetoric coming out of this week’s Republican rallies, from Corsi’s camp, and from people who are comfortable with stirring violence in foreign countries if it satisfies their small-minded politics at home.
47. Ces | 10.07.08
If you are reading this, then you are NOT reading about the real problems that face the country for whomever will be elected the president. It is like reading about UFOs expecting some divine answer for the world. How about paying more to buy less and having no five or ten year plan to improve the situation? … I crave substance.

oh it get much worse
the pro-obama press here in the states won’t tell the truth about him.
He tried to hire “truth squads” to supress all dissent in missouri - the

mainstream press won’t air things like that….

I just called the Kenyan gov’t and pleaded with them to keep Corsi. They refused insisting that my “100 years” stipulation was excessive. They also mentioned something about Corsi’s body odor and the fact that he molests children on a daily basis.
And in case you didn’t know, Jerome Corsi’s mother was originally from Iraq and was a concubine of Saddam Hussein.
51. tmo | 10.07.08
So much for freedom of religion and objectivity. Since the Obama campaign started and everyone get to know who his father was and what was the origin of his name etc… the hypocrisy toward muslims has been incredible. So what if Obama was raised as a muslim? I don’t understand what would have changed if he were raised as a Muslim. He did not choose his parents and then he chose his religion, Christianity. We are preaching democracy and fighting a war to kill the enemies of freedom so that individuals can make a free choice and convert to Islam if they wish to, and so Obama should technically have a choice to believe and convert to any religion he chose to without being chastised for it. But no the rule does not apply for Muslims in Christian land America. So much hypocrisy!
52. mc | 10.07.08
Just because Obama is luo doesn’t make him a bad person at all, there is so many tribes in Kenya but none of the tribes are perfect! I believe Obama is a good person and its not right to judge him because of his father’s tribe.
53. a_consumer | 10.07.08
I am no fan of Obama, but I guess I’m no fan of Corsi either. What kind of a person would want to make a living out of lies and slander, just because his targets are members of a certain political party? Partisenship is a useless endeavor, the political “party” divide is a distraction from the real issues, and Corsi is doing his part to promote this distraction for his masters.

How long before Obama and friends start deporting or detaining our own people critical of him. Think it can’t happen? Look how my Dem friend feel at this sight. This is just the start of Obama’s cult!
56. Jomo Kenyatta | 10.07.08
Since when did Kenya become the 51st state? I am not familiar with the country but I can assure you that they aren’t operating on the first amendment or even the U.S. constitution to all my republicans on here. This is a boneheaded move by Corsi. There are many idiots in this country ready and willing to buy your ****. Going to a country suffering from unrest and trying to dash one of their hopes for unity is low. Low. LOw.LOW.LOW!
57. Wajiddy | 10.07.08
For all Americans who do not understand the psyche of people who differ culturally, physically and geographically from what you know, do not assume that because you live in a 1st world country and are fed 1st world ******** that it makes you better and superior to anyone!!! Wake up and see where you are heading. Broken economy, unemployment, and wars you cannot win are just the beginning, you may just find yourselves a 3rd world country sooner than you think. You cannot remain #1 forever.
Understanding other communities, their cultures and how they operate is crucial to peace and survival, know your neighbor, personally and not what the media spoon feeds you!!!

Pah-leeze, dragonfly! You probably support the government in the Guantanamo detainees! Talk about tunnel vision.
60. Rishi | 10.08.08
Kenyans probably averted riots by kicking out Corsi. Obama is very popular in Kenya. He was probably sent there by his handlers to promote his book and perhaps help McCain by starting a ruckus in Kenya.
61. fairplay | 10.08.08
Personal attacks and character assasination perhaps, but what about policy? Are Kenyans reacting with heart rather than mind to Obama’s candidacy? Do they really agree with Obama’s tweedle dum America city on the hill rank imperialism, his ties to Brezinski league? Do they want AFRICOM headquarter based in Kenya? Do they think we should attack Pakistan and continue the war against women and children in Afghanistan? Remember what the pretext for attacking Afghanistan and Iraq was and the actual reality, which Obama and his advisors are part and parcel of, is that what kenyans support along with Obama’s wishy washy get the troops out eventually plan? Or do they support Obama becuase he is partially one of them, based on race only? Certainly, his cultural background has very little to do with Africa or African people. Everyone is entitled to rediscovery perhaps, yet even if one did want to support Obama for whatever reason, it is hardly exemplary or effective to abridge freedom of speech, especially for an alleged literary scoundrel, which only makes that person’s writings seem more than what they are.
Make no mistake about it, this is our election, our country, and Obama’s popularity is an infotainment charade, he is unpopular and so is his opponent. Niether has any substantive difference in basic policy and are manipulated figure heads. Unfortunately, many do not understand in the world that a “strong president” who supposedly, as an individual with an unelected cabinet of uber-mensche and uber frua, can solve all the problems with unilateral dictatorial powers is the USA in failure mode. The yearning for a king or “great leader” indicates a failure in citizenship - a brainwashed electorate not understanding the traditional construct of their own country . The result will be more of the same. Obama is another puppet. The economy is crashing.
Obama if elected is to serve the interests of the American people, not Kenya, and it would hardly be in our interests to militarize Kenya with AFRICOM, to continue policies inciting civil war in Sudan, Ehiopia and Somalia with Kenya as a base of operations or to waste our tax money in any other such non productive adventures, all of which Obama supports without substantive discussion or recent historical review of the situation. No, not one dime, no payoffs or buy offs with our tax money for geopolitical favors to corrupt Kenyan politicians who hope for skim a la Obama in the white house, backed by the military industrial complex. What about those Russian tanks that Somali pirates now hold, headed for Mombassa? Will they help to stabilize the pathetic distorted agricultural economy of Kenya or will it be food aid and graft forever? I am sure they are going to be used as farm equipment.
If the Kenyan people wanted a better shake vis a vis the USA, they should probably just hope for libertarian or green party candidates winning congressional seats to take over the government and not vainly boost for tweedle dum box of soap just becuase he is part Luo. Can I get a tourist visa please?
62. Zel | 10.08.08
I am African and I live in Africa and I am extremely proud to be African. But I think you Americans are taking your election process a bit too far and even have the nerve to extend it beyond your borders. So what was Corsi purpose in launching his book in Kenya? What on earth was he hoping to achieve? Is he aware that the post election crisis in Kenya resulted in 1,500 deaths and the displacement of more than 600,000 after which the National Unity Government was formed in which Odinga took office as Prime Minister at the beginning of the year. Is he even aware that these wounds have not yet healed completely? Does he even know how fragile African politics is? I am not justifying what happened in Kenya or Zimbabwe for that matter but I believe that if such issues are to be revisited, which could ultimately result in more violence, at least let it be done by the African people themselves and not because of the American elections. So if you American have a problem with Obama well and good but please keep it on your own territory and don’t inject it into our politics. I am glad he was deported.
63. Don in CA | 10.08.08
“Fairplay” is one of the few posters here to make sense. It’s true: Both Obama and McCain are figureheads, and their handlers’ policies are similar.
The worrying difference is that McCain is an open book — we know all about him — whereas Obama has associations that suggest either that he is weak or dishonest or both. None of his ties with Africa or race or Islam or any of that matter. That is all noise raised to justify cries of racism. What matters is that Obama either cannot manage his own personal relationships (Wright and Ayers should both have been distanced long ago) or he has beliefs and agendas that will set us back years. His collaboration with Ayers on turning schools into little camps of revolution is particularly worrisome.
What I have learned from commenters here though is that Corsi perhaps should have known better than to risk inciting more violence. I had no idea African politics was so fragile. I swear: tribalism in its many forms is one of Mankind’s remaining great evils (no, Americans are not entirely free of it).
64. Stephanie | 10.08.08
What is the difference between Osama and Obama? A little b s. I think Obama must have been sleeping in Rev. Wright’s church those 20 years. That is why he never heard the Anti America, Anti White, Anti Isreal bashing of his beloved pastor. America needs to wake up. Black or White, why would you believe all of his lies. It seems that he has an excuse for everything and the people want listen to the truth about him and the people that he has surrounded himself with. You have to wonder why Palestinian radicals are supporting his campaign so heavily. Voters in the swing states need to get the message out.
65. carol | 10.08.08
Am so disgraced by John who says Kenya is a backward country. You should realise that we have the highest respect for other people if they respect us too.I cant even be allowed in the United States just as a tourist so why should Mr.Corsi disrespect our laws?Kenya has suffered many tragedies from terrorist who targeted America/Israel interests here and that has left many Kenyans dead without their families compensated for other people deeds. Is that what Kenyans get from people who are insensitive like you?NO we deserve much better than that.Thats why whatever it takes we must protect our country from terrorists and the likes of Mr.Corsi who need to be sensored on their activities in our country before they can tear us apart.
Corsi had no respect for our country when he lied the purpose of his visit as a TOURIST yet he was coming to promote his HATE..SMEAR BOOK to our country that is healing from the same politics smear,he wanna dispose to the Kenyan people. Why didnt he apply for the required BUSINESS PERMIT to conduct his business? Why did he use a small unknown christian group to spread hate than peace if he wanted to potray himself as religious condemning Obama.Even if,As a christian you dont throw a stone when you are tainted too. What about handouts,Kenyan people got fed up long time of those malicious charity donations instead we are focusing more on building our livelihood. He should give his donation to his fellow Americans who are desperate,WE DONT WANT BLOOD MONEY.
As for Obama, the first time he came to Kenya in the early 1990’s to find his roots we didnt know of him until the last few years when he joined politics. The time he visited,he lived a simple life just like his half-family here.He helped his half-grandmother in her farm and going to the market just like any ordninary village Kenyan.
2006 when Obama came to Kenya as an offical representing the USA,he was welcomed very dearly by the Kenyan government but things went sour when he attacked the Kenyan government for its highly rooted corruption at that particular moment. The government didnt like it especially for an outsider asking them to clean their house. He told them point blank he wasnt gonna work keenly with a corrupt govt. The Kenyan people instantly fell in love with him for telling the government off just like the British High Commissioner then Sir.EDWARD CLAY who didnt mince his words to correct our govt. then that was very selfish. We want world leaders like that who stands for RIGHTS of the HUMAN RACE.Instead USA govt. was condemned by the Kenyan government for nosing where it didnt have business but Kenyans booed down its govt. that we were fed up with it for not thinking of its people and thats how we connected with OBAMA AS A MAN OF PEOPLE.If any dirty laundry,it will come from the same people Obama condemned and they will want to be malice and do whatever it takes to hit back with falsehood to get even.KENYANS WE DONT ADVOCATE MALICE,WE NEED STRAIGHT LEADERS just like you want in the STATES.
Raila is our PRIME MINISTER who was rigged out in last years election who enjoys the biggest support from Kenyans than the President himself. He stands for all Kenyans despite their tribe, religion and culture. He inspires many Kenyans just like Obama does in America and worldwide.Raila’s connection with Obama is because both their late fathers worked together in Government then whereby from him Obama has learned alot about his father he didnt know. Also, coming from the same tribeline doesnt make one hate his kinsman no matter their intercultural blood mixed.Afican-blooded in the diaspora knows this better than any other.
If Obama wins,it doesnt benefit Kenya but the USA where he belongs. We already know his leadership when he blasted our government and thats what we want from an American President to put African leaders to be accountable and be on their toes to care for his own people than stealing their resources.
About his family in Kenya,Americans should realise Africans have a big family tree that its nowhere else in this world.Obama cant be able to take care of them all when actually they can do it themselves.Tell me if you are given the task and asked to support a family that goes beyond 100 people every month with your mere salary what are you left with? We have that problem in our families and thats why we dont condemn Obama because we understand the strains of our aAfrican families. To make things even difficult for him, he doesnt know most of his many relatives here and thats why he is better off with his grandma whom he has come to know and who helped him throughout. The biggest thing,he supports the community and not individuals.AND THATS A TRUE LEADER.

Commentor 14,better be reading kenyan local news to get the right info than just making false thoughts. Our Prime Minister RAILA ODINGA is highly regarded in Kenya,EU nations that he enjoys the support of the USA EMBASSADOR IN KENYA too.
By the Raila isnt in Kenya the last week but in France as the only African leader invited to an International-forum.What does that mean???????????? Does that rings a bell???? It means the EU has much confidence in him than many African leaders. He blasted Zimbabwe’s President Mugabe in the same election rigging that happened as in Kenya that many African leaders refused to mention a thing.

All those complaining and whining about Obama’s brother living in squalid conditions. SO WHAT!! Most of you have relatives living in the deep south, Appalachian mountains, New Orleans etc etc in very appalling conditions according to American standards but you dont bail them out, do you?? I bet most of you yapping here have never been to rural Kentucky. Go see for yourselves how our fellow Americans are living, and nobody cares about them. Entire towns where average annual wages are 14,000/yr!
The Point is we are not our brothers’ keepers’ and neither is Obama. Before you see the speck in your neighbors eye, remove the log or 2X4 in your own!

Friends living overseas have asked me with utter incredulity about the rumours spread about Obama, especially about him allegedly being a Muslim because he was photographed in traditional East African clothing. Now I can point them to the comments here on this website so they can see the delusions up close and personal. No doubt these will be all over the African blogosphere within hours (and yes, there is one) so everyone can marvel at the results of willfull ignorance.

Here is what I have to say to all of you who applaud Corsi’s removal from Kenya…What about free speech? Where would we be if the Brits had done the samething here in America in the 1700’s? Get with the program you libs, discussion and knowledge is a good thing. Everyone can make up their own mind. Liberals only scream free speech when it is convenient for them and they are the FIRST ones to the table to shut anyone up with an opposing view point!

There is PROOF that Obama used his elected office—and taxpayers’ dollars—to support Kenya’s Raila Odinga, self touted as “Your Agent for Change,” a violent and dangerous man who made a pact with the Muslims to institute sharia (Islamic law). Odinga’s followers killed 750 people and burned a Christian church with 50 people, many of them children, inside. Obama is a Marxist who hates the United States and supports Marxist-Islamic terrorists like Odinga. The fact that the mainstream media has been hiding all these facts is CRIMINAL. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c30_1223478281

My name is Ibrahim, but am I a muslim? No. People don’t choose their names, but they can choose their religion. Corsi should stop using Obama’s name to link him with Islam. When was Obama last seen in a mosque? I bet never. Which mosque did Obama’s father attend while he was in America? Maybe Corsi the great researcher should tell us. And as for Corsi’s depotation, he should know Kenyan’s rejected him because they are smart people who will not give a chance to someone who wants to insult their intelligence and waste their time. Finally, of what religion does the name Corsi belong?

Ibrahim, not all Muslims are terrorists, but Obama’s cousin Odinga is a declared anti-American Marxist. As many Marxists nowdays, he works with Islamic terrorists. He DID sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Muslims to institute Islamic law in a country that is only 10% Muslim in exchange for their help to take over Kenya. Chávez is also working with Islamic terrorists to harm the U.S.
The fact that a candidate for President of the U.S. would use taxpayers’ dollars—to support an anti-American thug like Raila Odinga, who has ties with Islamic terrorists MUST be reported by the U.S. media.
Obama is Ayers’ new bomb to destroy America.
