01.11.09 The Hearts of Horses“

The Hearts of Horses by Molly Gloss is a wonderful story – tight, with almost poetic writing. Gloss shows amazing skill at creating and communicating characters and situations with well-chosen words. An earlier book by the same Oregon author – “Jump Off Creek” – is also top-notch. ” |
