We Were One

We Were One by Patrick K. O’Donnell is a gripping account of the 2004 battle for Fallujah. O’Donnell is a combat historian embedded with a company of US Marines. He presents a first-person account – complete with photos – of the action they faced. This book should be rated R for language and violence, but A+ for capturing the thoughts and emotions of these brave young men.
