After wild September, who knows what McCain will try next?
By Jimmy Orr | 09.30.08
Well, he could always try suspending the election…
With exactly five weeks to go before voting day, who knows what the McCain campaign is going to try next? August and September have been anything but boring. And with a poll showing Barack Obama won last Friday’s debate, the prospect for an even more interesting October seems likely.
Two months of surprises
The American electorate has been on a roller coaster of surprises from Team McCain, including the selection of a complete unknown as John McCain’s running mate, portraying Barack Obama as the next Messiah, featuring Paris Hilton and Britney Spears in campaign ads, high-profile media cancellations, suspending his campaign, and calling for the postponement of the debate.
These were planned strategies tactics. The list doesn’t mention the dramatics of a hacked email account, a senior campaign official questioning her own candidate’s credentials (twice), and a disastrous television interview which could singlehandedly resurrect Saturday Night Live.
If this was all in the Republican nominee’s Fall playbook, one wonders if the campaign secretly dumped campaign managers Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt and elevated Charles Barkley to steer the ship.
Gave it a shot
McCain’s latest gamble, inserting himself into the high profile financial bailout deliberations, didn’t work out with the failure of the package yesterday.
You could argue that McCain pulled a Leon Lett yesterday. Lett was the Dallas Cowboys defender who infamously threw a touchdown celebration on the ten yard line only to have the ball stripped away.
“I’ve never been afraid of stepping in to solve problems for the American people, and I’m not going to stop now,” he told a cheering crowd in Ohio. “Sen. Obama took a very different approach to the crisis our country faced. At first he didn’t want to get involved. Then he was monitoring the situation.”
“That’s not leadership, that’s watching from the sidelines,” he said.
No one is to blame (except you)
Speaking at a campaign event following the failure of the bill, however, the celebratory tone was gone and McCain blamed Obama before calling for the suspension of blame.
“Senator Obama and his allies in Congress infused unnecessary partisanship into the process,” McCain said. “Now is not the time to fix the blame. It’s time to fix the problem.”
Look the other way
Meanwhile, over at the Obama camp, things are pretty quiet. Even Joe Biden - who’s trying very hard - can’t screw things up.
Sensing that they’ve got the clear momentum, the Obama campaign released a tell-tale statement this morning on the financial crisis that leaves out one important thing — any mention of John McCain.
“Yesterday, within the course of a few hours, the failure to pass the economic rescue plan in Washington led to the single largest decline of the stock market in two decades,” the statement reads. “While I, like others, am outraged that the reign of irresponsibility on Wall Street and in Washington has created the current crisis, I also know that continued inaction in the face of the gathering storm in our financial markets would be catastrophic for our economy and our families.”
Next?
Everyone would agree it’s been a rough two weeks for the Republican. But McCain’s been down before. Many times. And he keeps coming back.
ESPN’s Chris Berman had a nickname for a former Detroit Lions coach who kept mystically coming back, despite the many losses and frequent calls for his firing.
Berman nicknamed that coach “Rasputin” and John McCain is one candidate who has proven time and time again - just like Rasputin - that he knows how to come back.

Palin will fallback to her personality and connection with people.Biden can also do that. What Biden needs to do is attack McCain since the premise is that Palin must support his views .Don’t get into Palin’s political record as that is frought with dangerous potholes for Biden.Keep the pressure on McCain and let Palin do all the talking , because the more she talks the more confused she gets. While her preparation will help her with anticipated questions she will be on her own with unanticipated questions, and Gwen Ifill will not let her circumvent the question.

If she can memorize the answers, she’ll do fine. She’s already proved, time and again, that left to her own devices she can’t think her way out of a bag with an illuminated exit sign. How totally irresponsible of McCain to pick her, and how totally insulting to the intelligence of the voter to think that she’s in any way ready to assume the presidency when she can’t even answer the most basic questions thoughtfully.
Sign me one Republican for Obama. I’m truly ashamed of McCain’s pandering.
4. thoren58 | 09.30.08
Solid people in their own minds but nevertheless ramming forward on their own, Palin appears to be the same as Bush. Bush examples include the Iraq war and No Child Left Behind. Palin examples include the hockey rink complex she had federal taxpayers build in her hometown for her son and son-in-law, her requests to ban books in her hometwon library followed by a request the librarian resign, the effort to get her former brother-in-law fired from the state police, puffing up personal items she could charge the state to support her large family (for example, she gets reimbursed a travel allowance when she sleeps in her own home). Palin appears to be just like Bush. I don’t even want to say they are ‘good’ people because although I think their Christian faith leads folks to want to conclude that about them, it appears so far that both Bush and Palin are small, cynical people grabbing with both hands. Palin is not the change I want.
5. nathan | 09.30.08
The debate will be interesting. As long as she does not have to answer any questions that would force her to stray away from her script and she can form a coherent sentence I think she will do fine.
But then again this is Palin we are talking about so I am sure she will sound just as dumb as she has in all her interviews, all 3 of them.
6. Yo Hevvy | 09.30.08
Even with an earpiece, pulling off a good debate performance will not be easy…. Bush has been practicing for years and he sometimes still talks to the voice in his ear instead of the audience…!!!
7. sharon | 09.30.08
Sarah Palin will do a great job on Thursday night - she has stood up to many attacks by far-left liberals and the media, but still keeps going strong. She and McCain are the best team for the White House as they are concerned most with what is best for our country. McCain is a proven candidate and the American people will know this when they go the polls on November 4th. My confidence in McCain and Palin have not been shaken! Obama has not got the experience and his views on just about everything that is important to us are the most liberal in Congress. Do not be fooled by him as he tries to go to the middle to get elected. My vote goes to McCain/Biden
8. Dennis Braddy | 09.30.08
McCain has painted himself into a corner. His penchant for using high-risk campaign tactics makes credible the charge that McCain is erratic. Overtaking Obama in the polls will require increasingly desperate maneuvers, reinforcing McCain’s gambler image. Meanwhile, given the current financial crisis, the electorate is looking for a steady hand, not Hail Mary passes.
9. Greg | 09.30.08
How about “Dracula” rather than “Rasputin” for a McCain nickname? I think he is much more of a bloodsucker than a friend to the discredited royal family (In our case the Bushes rather than the Romanovs).
10. TeeCee | 09.30.08
McCain is flailing in all directions now. If it is raining he blames it on Obama, until he gets told that it has been dry and we need rain. Then he claims credit for it. I thnk McCain is an incompetent bozo with severe emotional problems who wants to be president so he can start wars. If he gets into office we will wish we could go back to the good old days of Bush/Cheney.
11. delere | 09.30.08
I wouldn’t be supprised if they try an earpiece. Watch to see if her hair is down over her ears instead of the updo she’s adopted since being tapped for this fiasco.
They (the McCain camp) will probably try what they did last Friday and have everyone in Congress (which would include Biden not Palin) called back to D.C. trying to force a defalt by Biden.
What a circus. McCain missed his calling. He should have been a ringmaster.
12. Honey Rogers | 09.30.08
She’ll do great! The expectations are below sealevel. The American people shouldn’t be fooled by her performance. She’s cute, funny accent, Christian with witchcraft background, wonderful family, just not ready for the big league. American should stay focused on McCain and his poor judgment, angry, eratic behavior. Small town white people, abortions did not go down under Bush with a Republican congress. No one will take your gun. And hopefully we all cling to our religion. Vote Obama. Bring intelligence and innovative ideas back to our White House. Vote your wallet and not the skin tone of Obama. Look what Bush and the Republicans have given us. The Dems have only been in charge less than 2 years, wake up America. Did you hear the excuse that Pelosi talked tough and partisan and now its her fault. Did we send sissies to the congress. Her speech didn’t change any minds, come on. They’ve been there too long if they’ve started to believe their own garbage. Vote Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. J.Jay | 09.30.08
Good lord, He sure knows how to come back. I wonder who will suffer in the end if he tries to come back being a president? Imagine if America attacked again and McCain suspends his presidency to show up at battle field to fight for America! ***? Does he know that Mr Bush is still president, It is his job to make sure bailout plan passes? And if he wanted to influence, Campaign trail is better stage to influence rather than rushing to crime scene. He seem to think that dems are bunch of idiots and can’t see his game. Someone on dems’ side saw through it, not only saw through it but also turned his own table against him. One of few trump cards McCain has now is a video tape from Osama Bin Laden threatening America’s security again.
14. Hampton | 09.30.08
Sharon, really…your “vote goes to McCain/Biden”? I didn’t know there was THAT much confusion among McCain supporters. I guess we’ll find out how many confused Americans there are when the polls show anyone’s voting for McCain…and whomever he’s running with these days. On the other hand, it shows some subliminal wishful thinking…”if only McCain had had the sense to choose someone like Biden and not the wingnut from the Great White North”. Thanks for the laugh, now go take your medication.
15. sharon | 09.30.08
Hampton, Oops I sure did make a mistake by putting Biden as the VP - guess you don’t ever make any!! Oh, and as far as Sarah memorizing her answers - your candidate, Obama, is first in memorizing lines, speeches, etc….he has made plenty of blunders too. However, one thing is sure in my mind and I hope in many others also - McCain is head and shoulders above Obama on all the issues and especially in his love for our country. McCain/Palin is the best team for our country.
16. Jake | 09.30.08
Wow Sharon. You’ve drunk the KoolAid haven’t you?
“Sarah Palin will do a great job on Thursday night - she has stood up to many attacks by far-left liberals and the media, but still keeps going strong.”
Umm… 1. Define “strong.” 2. Not mentioning the growing number of CONSERVATIVE voices recognizing the failed gamble McCain took on her. Given the current financial situation and media hyped ‘economic crisis’ don’t ya wish you had Mitt Romney now?
“She and McCain are the best team for the White House as they are concerned most with what is best for our country. ”
So far, from McCain’s campaign hijinks, I’d think they are most concerned with what is best for his campaign.
“McCain is a proven candidate and the American people will know this when they go the polls on November 4th. My confidence in McCain and Palin have not been shaken!”
If McCain is the proven candidate, the last month of his campaign he’s behaved in quite the opposite manner. I hate to say it, but Americans’ political memories are short and the actions of his campaign during this period will be what defines him, not his 26 years in the Senate.
“Obama has not got the experience and his views on just about everything that is important to us are the most liberal in Congress. Do not be fooled by him as he tries to go to the middle to get elected.”
I really don’t think one can possibly attack Obama’s experience in the same paragraph defending Palin.
“My vote goes to McCain/Biden”
That, Sarah, is what we in the professional psychology community call a ‘Freudian Slip.” ![]()
17. john | 09.30.08
In regards to Sharon’s comment: “Sarah Palin will do a great job on Thursday night - she has stood up to many attacks by far-left liberals and the media, but still keeps going strong”
The problem is it is not the far left attacking her any more. It is Republicans, conservative journalists and bloggers and anybody else that really starts to think she is the wrong person for the times.
18. sharon | 09.30.08
Oh, Jake, look who’s in the “koolaid” now….as you refrerred to me as “Sarah”. Your psychology degree doesn’t trump “common sense”. We all are very fortunate to be living in this country where we are allowed to speak our opinions on our candidates, our president, the war, etc. and still come together as brothers/sisters in this great land. So my vote will still go to McCain/Palin!
19. My view | 09.30.08
Would his next move be? Could that be an Alaskan wedding?
I don’t care if she gets 100% on the debate test she’s preparing for. It won’t be the “real” Palin. I am a 60 year old woman voter and it make me mad to think that she should be treated like a Prima Donna.
Take a look at some of these world leaders and think about her dealing with them, off the cuff! The media, comedians and voters, are supposed to treat her with “kid gloves”??? Would they ask world leaders to do the same??? Well, I’m done with John McCain & Sarah Palin.
The last thing we need are mavericks with a hair brained trigger.
20. Martinez | 09.30.08
I haven’t been able to sleep well since Bush was appointed president. I want to sleep well, so I will vote for McCain. He is patriot, has character, is knowledgeable and has good judgment in foreign affairs as well as understanding the fundamentals of the economy. He knows that to get rich income most be greater than expenses.
21. Bob | 09.30.08
Since McCain appeared with Palin on Katie Couric last night, perhaps he will join her in the debate as well?
22. Jessica | 09.30.08
as an Independent swing voter from Alaska, I had my eye on McCain for this election. I thought his patriotism and experience would be for the best interest of our country. . .but what use is experience if clear judgement is lacking? When Sarah Palin became the Govenor of my state not very long ago, even the local republicans were nervous. She does not pay attention to world affairs, likes to spend money hand over fist and in fact doesn’t care if she loses any (she cost the state treasury millions because she notified the media of a change in PFD payout before she notified personnel within the Treasury department), fires people who don’t vote the way she wants them to, and doesn’t have the balls to live in rural southeast the way tradition requires. Palin is Alaska’s own Madame Defecit, a sheltered airhead with spendthrift ways, and I and many others who suffer from her lack of experience would sooner vote blue than see her a skipped heartbeat away from the Presidency.
23. NinaK | 09.30.08
Sharon, looks like you are also living in a state of mental delusion, just like McCain and Palin. McCain believes he is worthy of the presidency because he was a POW 40+ years ago and Palin believes she is ready to be VP and is an expert on foreign policy because Russia is Alaska’s neighbor and she can see Russia from somewhere in Alaska!! These two are NOT “country first”! All McCain has been seeing the last several years is HIMSELF behind the Oval Office. McCain did not reach the military ranks that his Dad and Granddaddy achieved as high-ranking admirals and HE has a GREAT BIG INFERIOR COMPLEX!! McCain was not and is not the smart cookie in the McCain family, that’s for sure! Pilan wants to make the leap from a mayor of 5,000 people and governor of the fourth smallest population in the country to veep. She is unintelligent (watch and listen to her interviews), she cannot even speak coherently when left on her own! It is no wonder, then, that McCain and his campaign have kept her so sheltered and hidden from the press and the American public. Palin described herself as a pitbull with lipstick when she stated the only difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull is the “lipstick”!! Well, we do NOT need a pitbull hockey mom with lipstick as our VP; we need an intelligent, thoughtful, coherent person in this level of government!! A pitbull hockey mom might be suitable for Alaska but is definitely NOT suitable for veep of the USA. I wonder why Sarah Palin did not stick with a career in journalism? Could it be she was unable to articulate clearly and to speak in complete sentences?? Umm. FIVE years of hopscotching through SIX small colleges earned her a degree in journalism, looks like she had problems getting that degree as well!
24. Richard Prince | 09.30.08
Military take over of the government?
McCain loves to keep a state of chaos swirling around him at all times.
25. Marty | 09.30.08
The state Of The United States of America is not good.
There are so many problems right now, it’s almost preposterous to assume anyone, Obama or McCain will be able to fix this mess.
Here’s the way it is. This mess is from 8 years of failed policies. George Bush is to blame. His ineptitude has caused this. Deregulation began the process years ago. This allowed people to get mortgages on less than poverty income. Some got mortgages for more than the purchase price (cash in their pocket) with far less income than needed to make even a few payments before falling behind.
Then the housing market collapsed. Home values plummetted, and all those rotten egg mortgages were failing, and the homes were worth far less than than the mortgages. This was the fuse that set off the nu-q-lear bomb on Wall Street.
First Fannie and Freddie couldn’t keep up with foreclosures, with homes being devalued hundreds of thousands of dollars less than what the mortgage was for. This was their collapse. Then it slowly built up on Wall Street, until Lehman Bros, who had many billions of dollars tied into those mortgages failed. It set off the domino effect, with AIG soon to follow and eventually, we reach today and see where we are.
What’s the point? Simple. George W Bush is the President. Regardless of party, the simple fact is he’s the boss. On his watch, the economic failure of the United States has occured. Is Bush entirely the only one to blame? Of course not, but the facts are the Boss takes the hit, be it a football coach, or the CEO of a failed company, the BOSS is the one responsible.

I’m not going to attack you Sharon for your decision, however maybe you should seriously check up on McCain and his views, politics, veterans lack of support for him(80%),his knee-jerk reactions. Also read the comments from Jessica who lives in Alaska.

Part 2:
Move forward to the elections and you’ll see two polar opposite candidates. Although it could be said bi-polar if one refers to McCain.
McCain said only a few weeks ago that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. This was clearly not true when he said it, as the volcano was already spewing lots of gases. McCain then went to fix things, and even within his own party, simply couldn’t muster enough votes, which clearly would have made McCain look like the Savior. But, once again, his lack of command and leadership skills exposed all his weaknesses.
Now, McCain looks like a withered and tired old man, which is what he is. He’s been stumbling all over the map, accusing Obama, asking for unity, blaming the Dems, yet, ignoring that 140 of his own party abandoned him in his quest to save America.
McCain has resorted to the most erratic behavior humanly possible. He can’t control his own mouth, trying over and over new tactics, hoping to find that WOW moment that’ll make people want to vote for him.

Part 3
Barack Obama, through it all has remained steady, and most importantly Presidential. He’s calm, and most importantly, APPEARS CALM.. In a speech today, he explained, in plain English, what needs to be done. Not once did he place blame on the Repubs, or on McCain. He explained why this plan is so essential, and when he speaks, we listen. He’s compelling and believable.
McCain can’t get past the barbs. Over and over and over. One assault after another. Lord knows, while he’s asking for unity and bipartisan help, they release an ad on TV that states the complete opposite. Calling the DEM bill bad and to not accept it. It’s not a DEM bill, it’s a GEORGE W BUSH bill..
McCain has said proudly his 90% voting record in accord with GWB. His policies are GWB’s policies. There’s no mystery or bs here. It’s what it is.. Facts are facts, not opinions.
Now, we’re in a crisis and the key really isn’t about party. It’s about who do you believe can lead the American people out of this mess that George Bush got us into. Do you truely believe McCain can fix it?? Well, then vote for him. Just remember this. If he wins, and a year from now, you don’t have a job, or there is no credit to buy a car or a house, you don’t get a recall. This is a one time deal. The vote is your only chance to make the right decision once. Make the wrong one, well, you’ll pay later.
30. Marty | 09.30.08
Part 4:
And on the worst issue in McCain’s tactics, Sarah Palin. She is so unready, what if McCain dies in January. Do you REALLY, in your heart of
hearts, and in your soul, believe she can carry on in this time of crisis? Do you really want her sitting in the oval office saying she’s not sure
what to do, but she promises to ‘get right back atcha’..? This is what you get if you vote for McCain and he dies or is rendered ill and unable to
serve.
At least with Obama, while Joe Biden may not be perfect, he’s CAPABLE.. he felt he was capable enough to try to run for President. Would Sarah
Palin ever considered running for President, and even if she had, how far would she have gotten ON HER OWN VOLITION???? Not very far.
31. Paul L | 09.30.08
it’s been entertaining. mccain has everything except a big red nose and a clown costume.
32. Jay from NH | 09.30.08
Sarah Palin has a knack for winning against long odds. She knocked off an incumbent Governor (Of her own party in the primary) and then a former Governor in the final election. Her “down home” speach pattern definitely doesn’t ring true with the East Coast pundit elite…but it seems like she can deliver a stiletto to the heart and not get any blood on her knuckles.
If Joe doesn’t commit verbal suicide ( 30-40 % chance of that on any given day ) then I think Sarah will field dress him right there on stage.
It should be a fun night.
Speaking of fun….When is the debate between Obama and Biden coming up ?
33. David | 09.30.08
Character is the only thing in politics that matters because with character comes abiding by principle and good decisions result from that - Palin has it - McCain has it - Obama does not - therefore, to me, it doesn’t matter what they say at any debate.
34. Character Counts1 | 09.30.08
The emptiness of the McCain/Palin campaign is glaringly obvious. I suspect that the majority of American voters will know on Election Day that McCain/Palin represent more of the same, the worst of American politics.
35. Character Counts1 | 09.30.08
I used to think that John McCain had character, but a person with character does not present the American voters with a fool as a running mate. Neither do they tell repeated lies. Sorry John, I can’t support you anymore. You’re no maverick and you don’t represent change. You are just a guy willing to do almost anything to win, because you think it is your last chance. The McCain candidacy is fatally flawed and dangerous for America.
36. Marty | 09.30.08
Character counts, I think you’re almost right..! McCain will do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING.. This is proven in his selection of Sarah “Kill Another Beautiful Wolf Palin”. If he truly believed in ‘Country First’, then he’d have respected his own mortality and picked someone who could walk into the White House and take over. Sarah Palin still needs to go thru the learning process, but not at the country’s expense.
When I watch the candidates talking, I see two distinct types of people.
John McCain: Impulsive, Reckless, Angry, Bloodthirsty, Shallow-Minded, War-Minded, Old, Disoriented, Beaten, Wrong.
Barack Obama: Sharp, Intense, Calm, Impressive, Logical, Passionate, Intelligent, Vibrant, Directed, Athletic, Presidential.
37. Marty | 09.30.08
I keep thinking that McCain should be Two-Face in the next Batman movie.
How perfect would he be? He is for this, then not for it, and it doesn’t matter what the topic is.
He went to DC to solve the financial mess that his pal, GWB got us into, yet he left without a decision, then it all fell apart. So, his own party abandoned him. Then he went media and blamed Obama, who on his own admission, was an observer and not ‘involved’.. So, how can he have it both ways?? Simple.. HES TWO-FACE. The worlds most two-faced politian.. Get him a cape, a mask, a fresh supply of Depends and a bottle of Viagra, for those Palin encounters and voila..! Super-Hero.
We could count hundreds of times Two-Face McCain has been at work. List your favorites!

Remember when McCain said, “I’ve been not feeling too great about a lot of things lately,” at the debate last week? Did he want to bring attention to something about himself? Does he need help, and that’s how he’s asking for it?
On the verge of a meltdown? Ready to leave Cindy? He really should seek help….
It’s as if he WANTS to thrown off the ticket.

Here’s a thought:
How can a “maverick” make a good leader??
McCain LOVES to go against, to fight, to battle, to take on anyone that he doesn’t agree with…
…how does that make him a good leader???
A maverick is someone who goes against the crowd. Do we want our President to go against the crowd (us)???
McCain relishes the “maverick” nickname, which was given to him by the press years ago, by the way. He identifies himself as a maverick every day on the campaign trail. That’s fine.
But, he fails to understand that a maverick DOES NOT make a good leader.
48. Marie | 09.30.08
Hey, Marty….I would rather have the VICE president get on the job training than the ACTUAL PRESIDENT. Arrogance and a ‘HIP’ swagger aren’t credentials worthy of being President of these United States. Aren’t these two candidates still receiving their Senator salaries? Then by all means, McCain did the right thing by going back to DC to participate in the talks last week. It is 3am…the phone rings….McCain jumps out of bed, throws on a robe and runs downstairs to a meeting…..Obama says ‘you guys work on it and if you need me, call me’ and rolls over and goes back to sleep!!! WAKE UP AMERICA! You are voting on the next president, not the next cover of GQ.

Hah mccain acts like we must pass this bailout
he goes to washington to suspend his campaign
and then the repubs say
“no way we not voting for expanding goverment”
then he blames obama that the bailout didnt pass then he runs 5 million dollars of ads saying this balout was the “democrats bailout”
this was the late september suprize thats why they called obama to DC to put him in a corner where he is dammed if he does dammed if he doesnt.
Mccain is unstable and palin is unable
Mccain said he will put a spending freeze on everything except military!
That means if your sick and need healthcare your screwed if your seeking to get a better education more doors will be slamemd in your face.
IF your seeking to redo your morgage because your paying a higherprice than its worth too bad..ANd if you have sons or daughters in the war dont expect too see them ever..
I liked obamas comback he said
“mccain wants to use a hatchet where you need to use a scapel”
in regards to spending. mccainlooked so foolish when he picked up that sharpy and said “you will know thier names”

John McCain has the beginnings of dementia and any good shrink will tell you so. He’s erratic, impulsive, forgetful, has wild mood swings and a very short attention span(he can’t remember in the afternoon what he claimed in the morning, i.e. that he’d negotiated a bailout bill that was to solve a crisis, but when it didn’t pass, he took no responsibility for having claimed victory.) His pick of Sarah Palin is just the worst of his impulsive and ridiculous decisions.
Obama’s looking very presidential indeed.

Unfortunately, we enter the really ugly stage of the campaign. I suspect that McCain/Palin will roll out the Rev. Wright, Ayers and Reziko controversies. Total charactor assisination is about all that is left in their bag of tricks. It saddens me.
Its a potential Palin presidency that scares me the most.

Doesn’t anyone remember the Keating Scandal! Google that!!! That is just the most popular of many he was involved with.

i like how posters said they wanted to vote for mccain because he has experience and patriotism.
as in… obama doesn’t.
people will let you off with “obama has no experience” … but he has no patriotism? combine that with paranoia marie up there and you’ve got what? HE’S UNAMERICAN.
and why? his name and skin color?
nice one republicans. keep voting for white upperclass america while the rest of the world continues getting ready to blow us up as a direct result of these ignorant attitudes.
pansies.

I love the last post there where the person “Ohforcryingoutloud” is accusing all of you who are not supporting Obama as being a racist. Keep that in mind people. These liberal crazies want to guilt you into voting for the most liberal, underqualified, anti-american, anti-capitalist, racist candidate ever and if you don’t you are a racist. These are the manuevers of a cult. Think like us or you are evil. He offers no reason to accept his views only reasons to not oppose them. This is the kind of tactic used by ACORN to aid in the Sub-Prime mortgage crisis (In between bouts of voter fraud).
That should be Obama’s new slogan. “Vote Obama or you’re a Racist”
Give me a freakin break. Obama will lose because of his horrible record, awful policies, overt racism, and the fact that he still thinks that the policies of Jimmy Carter are better for this country than those of Ronald Reagan.
Bye Bye Obama.
P.S. The bar is set so low for Palin by all you idiots who keep calling her stupid that there is no way she can lose. If she even does a competent job everyone will say “Wow she held her own”. So keep up the insults, I love it.

Wow…All the liberals are in here!.
Palin is an amazing woman and in the end she will shine against Biden and Mr. vote for me because I will give the poor everything and make those nasty rich people pay for it all!
I would love to see an African American President but not one with NO experience and who only has the gift of gab.
McCain slammed him for giving LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY TO THOSE RICH FATCAT OIL COMPANIES…
What will Obama do when McCain is not there? Who will say he agrees with, again and again (like in the debate).
DEMOCRATS KEEP ASKING “WHAT WILL MY COUNTRY DO FOR ME”? NOT WHAT WILL I DO FOR MY COUNTRY?
BUSH HATERS, AND HATE MONGORS…remember AMERICA HAS BEEN SAFE ALL THIS TIME…WHAT WILL OBAMA DO IF WE GET ATTACKED AGAIN? SEND MISSLES AT PAKISTAN?
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
CANT WAIT TO GET IN LINE AT THE FREE HEALTH CARE CLINIC? YUCK…HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A GOVERNMENT RUN CLINIC? YOU GET SICKER JUST WAITING IN THE LONG LINE AND GO HOME INSTEAD.
OBAMA MAY GET ELECTED AND IF HE DOES HE WILL BE A ONE TERM LOSER, BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE ARE UNDEREDUCATED IN THIS COUNTRY.
THEN WHAT WILL ALL THOSE NICE SPEECHES DO FOR US?
WHEN WE TAX BUSINESS OWNERS (RICH FOLKS)…THEY CLOSE UP SHOP AND RETIRE AND OH YEAH…FIRE EVERYONE.
HELLO UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS…
HA HA HA HA HA
IDIOTS.

That’s funny Marie bin loosescrew, that’s exactly what I would say about any person voting for the McChicken/McMoose ticket. Not only stripped of citizenship, but committed to the nearest institution.

It’s good to smell the posts of neocons in the morning. The more Obama increases his lead, the LOUDER and more ridiculous they sound. Now I was going to say the same for supporters of the McChicken/McMoose ticket as well as immediate commitment to the nearest institution.

I just can’t wait to see this coming debate on Thursday between the VP’s. Although, I am thinking, that they most likely (McCain and Palin) will try to get her out of it some way, if not, watch out for an ear piece… that seems to be the only way to get her to answer serious questions intelligently.
